YouI don't know anything about cameras or mics.
FloorYou don't need to. The set's lit, the mics are on and the cameras are framed before you walk in. You sit down and talk.
- 00:00:19
YouI don't have time to edit anything.
FloorThen don't. We trim the start and the end and the episode is ready the same day. Add reels and we send the transcript with 15 moments marked, so all you do is pick five.
- 00:00:37
YouWe've never recorded a podcast before.
FloorMost people haven't. There's a timer on the desk so you know where you're up to, and our crew is on the floor watching picture and sound the whole session.
- 00:00:52
YouI can't work out what it'll cost.
FloorEvery price is on this page. Set up your session and the total adds up as you go. No call, no quote, no surprises on the invoice.

YouWhere do I even park?
FloorIn the Bakehouse Quarter car park, which runs straight into our building. Then the lift to level two, with no gear to carry up stairs. Get changed in our change rooms, grab something from the fridge, and you're on.
Previously onShows recorded here
Ryker Capital records its podcast here every month. HAS shot the first season of Mind the Gap here in September: six episodes over two days on the Lounge, and the guest interviews on the Cyc. K Dolls had the Cyc lit pink for an eight-episode season, and Core Coach set up armchairs and a mixer on it.

LocationRecord in the old Arnott's factory.
The studio is in the Bakehouse Quarter in North Strathfield. Arnott's baked biscuits here from 1908 to 1997, in Edwardian brick buildings by the architect Charles Slatyer. The saw-tooth roofs, the brickwork and the SAO neon sign are still here, and George Street is cobblestone again. Upstairs it's offices, studios and workspaces, with cafés, restaurants and bars at street level.
Two train lines and the M4, five minutes away. Sessions from $300 + GST.
Book a sessionQuick answers
What should we bring?
Yourselves and what you want to talk about. If you want the files on your own card, bring an SD card or a drive with room for about 20 GB an hour at 1080p. Props are welcome too. Send photos after you book so we can plan the frame.
What should we wear?
Solid colours work best. Fine stripes and small checks shimmer on camera. On The Cyc, skip white, or you'll blend into the wall.
How do the files arrive?
A download link by the end of the business day, or copied onto your card before you leave. 4K graded files take longer: 48 hours for one episode, 72 hours for four and a week for eight.
Can we move our booking?
Yes, free of charge up to 48 hours before your session. Inside 48 hours the booking stands.
Is there parking?
Yes. The Bakehouse Quarter car park runs straight into our building, with 929 spaces across the precinct. Take the lift to level two, Suite 205.
Is there somewhere to get changed?
Yes, there are change rooms on our floor, and a kitchen with a full fridge. Bring a second outfit if you're recording more than one episode.
Can you put it on Spotify and Apple Podcasts?
It isn't part of a session, but we can set it up for you. Ask us when you book.
We want a series, edited and produced.
That's a production rather than a studio booking. We make those for businesses like Ryker Capital and HAS. Tell us about the show and we'll quote it.
Still weighing it up? Send us one line about the show you want to make. We'll tell you which set and package fits, free.
Email us one lineYou're probably not as interesting as you think. There's still a seat for you.
Set up your session and request a time. The mics are on when you get here.
