Live streaming, run as a broadcast.
Multi-camera streams for conferences and launches across Sydney. An operator switches the cameras live, the audio comes straight from the venue's sound desk, and every link in the chain has a backup.
No remote audience? Event videography is the better spend.

Five things a broadcast needs.
The difference between a webcam pointed at a stage and a broadcast comes down to five things. Miss one and the failure is public, in real time, in front of the audience you were trying to impress.
Multiple cameras
Two at minimum, three for panels. Cutting between angles is what keeps an online audience watching for an hour.
Live switching
An operator cutting cameras, slides and graphics as it happens, so viewers get a directed program instead of a security feed.
Audio from the desk
The biggest quality gap on most streams. A feed from the venue's sound desk gives viewers the same clean signal as the PA. People forgive average pictures, but they leave over bad audio.
Redundancy
Backup internet, power on separate circuits, and a local recording rolling the whole time, whatever the stream does.
A platform plan
Where it streams, who can watch, how people register and who owns the recording. Decided three weeks out, not on the morning.

Stream Day, from $7,500.
Stream Day is our multi-camera broadcast as a fixed scope, from $7,500 ex GST: cameras, switching and graphics, audio from the desk, the redundancy, an operator crew and a highlights cut within 48 hours. With a fixed scope, the real price doesn't turn up later as change requests, and the backups are written into the quote instead of assumed.
- 1Three weeks outPlatform and access locked. On the site visit we test the venue's wired internet at the actual streaming position and confirm the feed from the sound desk.
- 2One week outA test event on the real platform with the real accounts. The run order is walked with the MC and the failure plan agreed in writing.
- 3On the dayBump-in three to four hours before doors. Every microphone line-checked, a private test stream an hour out, and the local recording rolling before doors open.
- 4Within 48 hoursThe highlights cut lands while the event is still in people's feeds, with something for every speaker to share.

What a stream costs in Sydney.
A single-camera stream with basic audio usually starts around $2,000 to $3,500. Broadcast-grade multi-camera production usually runs $6,000 to $15,000, with live switching, desk audio and backups built in. The cost is people and hours: every camera adds an operator, and every extra hour of program adds crew time.
Whoever you book, make the quote name its redundancy. If backup internet and a local recording aren't written down, assume they won't be there on the day. And if nobody needs to watch remotely, event videography is the better spend.

What clients wrote
Google reviews, quoted as they were written.
“I could not recommend Sam & the team from visual labs enough. They take care of our production needs from start to finish. Promotional material, live streaming, photography & social media management. Visual labs has hands down increased brand awareness, increased the standard of production and increased our bottom line. 10/10”
“Visual labs have done the photos and live stream at powerlifting comps that I have competed in, helped out and spectated. They have been amazing, and their photos have been great, capturing the best moments!”
Questions about live streaming
How much does live streaming cost in Sydney?
A single-camera stream with basic audio usually starts around $2,000 to $3,500. Broadcast-grade multi-camera production usually runs $6,000 to $15,000, depending on cameras, program hours and graphics. Our Stream Day is a fixed scope from $7,500 ex GST, with the highlights cut within 48 hours.
Can you stream to Teams, YouTube and LinkedIn at the same time?
Yes. Streaming to several platforms at once is standard with a proper encoder. Two caveats: LinkedIn Live has to be enabled on your account ahead of time, and Teams behaves more like a meeting than a broadcast, so we always rehearse it in the test event.
What internet speed does a stream need?
A solid HD stream usually needs 10 to 20 Mbps of dedicated upload, and we ask venues for a wired connection with plenty of headroom above that. Venue wifi doesn't count, whatever the speed test says at 9am. It behaves differently once 300 phones connect.
What happens if the internet drops mid-stream?
With redundancy in place, the stream fails over to a bonded 4G/5G backup and viewers see a brief dip in quality, not a dead feed. A local recording runs the whole time, so a full-quality version of the event always exists.
How far ahead should we book?
Three to four weeks is comfortable, more if the venue needs inductions or the staging is complex. Shorter is possible, but the venue internet test is the one step we won't skip, so everything else gets compressed first.
Do we get the full recording as well?
Yes. A local recording runs for the whole event, whatever the stream does. The recording is the archive. The highlights cut is the piece people actually watch and share.
