The signwriter, the printer, a new hire, whoever opens Canva on a Friday afternoon. With nothing to check against, each of them guesses. This is our own brand after a few months of that.

What every package hands over
The handover is where most brand jobs go wrong. A sign prints in the wrong black, or the signwriter can't open the file. So every package ends with the same set of files, checked by someone on our team who didn't make them.
Vector masters
Every version of the logo as editable vector files, with nothing traced or flattened.
Print files in CMYK
Set up for printers and signwriters, with the black and the brand colours specified for print.
Screen files in RGB
Built separately for websites, social and email, with colour and type codes your web developer can use.
A live guide
A web page your team and suppliers can open on any device, plus a PDF copy.
A file index
One page that says which file to use for what.
A trade mark search
We search IP Australia before showing concepts. It's a screen, not legal advice.
Ownership on payment
The files and the rights to the final design are yours once the last invoice is paid.

How a brand job runs
- 1Brief and depositA short call, a fixed quote, then 50% to start.
- 2Name searchWe check IP Australia for anything too close before any concepts are drawn.
- 3DirectionsThree concepts for a new brand, two routes for a refresh. A brand guide skips this step.
- 4Logo sign-offTwo rounds of changes, then you sign off the logo in writing. Nothing else starts until you do.
- 5System and filesColours, type, the guide and every file, checked by a second person before handover.

Quick answers
How much does branding cost?
Every price is on the rate card above. A brand guide for a logo you already have is $2,500 ex GST, a refresh is $3,500, a new brand is $5,500 and a full identity is $8,500. Add-ons like naming, packaging and signage artwork are priced on the card too.
What counts as a round of changes?
One list of changes from the person who signs off, sent within five business days. Every package includes two rounds at each stage. Another round is $450 ex GST on the logo or $600 ex GST on the guide, and we confirm it with you before we start.
What if I don't like any of the concepts?
Tell us what's missing and we'll do one new round of concepts for $1,200 ex GST. If that round still misses, we close the job and the deposit covers the work done.
Will you check the name is free to use?
Yes. Before we show any concepts, we search IP Australia for registered trade marks that look or sound too close. It's a screen, not legal advice, so if the name matters a lot to the business, talk to a trade mark attorney before you register it.
Do you print as well?
We supply the artwork, set up in CMYK the way printers and signwriters ask for it, and we check every file before it leaves. The printer bills printing separately. Ask us who we use.
Who owns the design?
You do, once the final invoice is paid. The concepts you didn't pick stay with us, and we won't reuse them for another business in your category for two years.
How do payments work?
50% to start, and the balance when the final artwork is ready, due within 14 days. Full Identity is split 50/25/25 across the job. The files are yours once it's paid. The deposit isn't refundable after we've presented the concepts.
Can I add a website?
Yes. Book a site with your brand, or within 90 days of it, and we add to the job instead of discounting it. A Starter site comes with a motion logo, and a Business site or bigger comes with a half-day crew shoot.
